[sv]interactive]irc chat

Sonic Vegmite has a chatroom. Humans have occasionally been known to chat on it. If you also would like to chat on the chatroom, this is the space to do just that.

[chat]rules

1. Like the rest of the site, the SV Chat Room is rated PG13. Kindly keep it that way.
2. Don't be a noob. The rules of netiquette as outlined here also apply to the chat room.
3. Flaming and insult-laden personal arguments, should the situation ever arise in the calm world of emptiness and serenity that is [sv]chat, will be stamped on by any means possible.
4. More rules may be applied as the situation demands them.

To join:
By IRC Client:

1. Download an IRC client such as mIRC, which unsurprisingly can be found at www.mirc.com. There are other clients available, so if mIRC doesn't meet your requirements I suggest you search Google for another.
2. Install it.
3. Once it is installed, point your internet browser to irc://irc.esper.net/sonicvegemite.
You're in!

- If you're not, you will have to open mIRC itself. When asked which server to connect to, choose Espernet from the menu.
- Fill in your details and then click "Connect to server".
- Once you're connected, a window will appear asking which channel you want to connect to. Type "#sonicvegemite"
